James W. Richey, MD, is a board-certified urologist. He’s been serving patients with the utmost professional care for almost 20 years at Alexandria Urology Associates in Oakdale and Alexandria, Louisiana. His high level of expertise includes performing procedures and treatments for incontinence, prostate enlargement, low testosterone, kidney stones, vasectomy, and erectile dysfunction.
He received his Bachelor of Science in biology with honors in 1991 at Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana. His graduation brought honors from the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society as well. In 1995, he received his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He went on to complete his residency in the urology department at the Louisiana State University Medical Center Shreveport.
He stays on the cutting edge of medicine by maintaining his certification with the American Board of Urology. He’s also affiliated with the American Urological Association, the Rapides Parish Medical Society, and the Louisiana State Medical Society.
